Carrying Passengers
Carrying passengers on motorcycles should only be done by experienced riders. Everything about your motorcycles balance, handling, starting, and stopping changes when you have a passenger.

Passenger Should Be Told The Following:
- Get on the motorcycle only after you have started the engine.
- Sit as far forward as possible without crowding you.
- Hold on firmly to your waist or hips.
- Keep both feet on the footpegs, even when stopped.
- Keep legs away from the muffler, chains, or moving parts.
- Stay directly behind you.
- Lean as you lean.
- Avoid unnecessary talk.
- Avoid unnecessary motion.
Warn Passengers When You:
- Approach surface problems.
- Are about to start from a stopped position.
- Will be making any sudden moves.
